Carl Pearce grew up in a small fishing village in North Wales in the 1980’s. Pencils permanently in hand, he lived on a diet of Saturday morning cartoons and Steven Spielberg movies. He’s been illustrating books since 2004 and now lives with his wife and kids in the hills somewhere, not too far from a beach

She loves the adventure of writing, especially the scary bits and the jokes, and finds that being able to make up stories about people who live in completely different times or places is nearly as much fun as having her own TARDIS
