Sam Hay grew up in Scotland in a family of bookworms. She always wanted to be a writer and filled endless notebooks with stories and poems. She worked for the BBC before deciding to write her first children’s book. Since then she has written more than 30 children\'s books, including Star in the Jar, Dinosaurs United and the Cowardly Custard Pirates for Farshore.Xin Li was born and raised in China, and now lives in Oslo, Norway. Before becoming an illustrator, she worked as an interaction designer for clients including Unicef Uganda. \'Everyday magic\' is a key theme in her artwork – she aims to reflect the world as it feels to young children. Xin works in traditional and digital media.
