Sharna Jackson is the award-winning author of High-Rise Mystery and Mic Drop. High-Rise Mystery won both the Waterstones Book Prize and was Sunday Times Book of the Week.

Laura Jarratt was born in Salford and has lived all over the UK. Although her favourite subject was English, she accidentally studied Science at university. She finally settled in rural Cheshire, where she is owned by a ginger cat with no tail. By day, she works in education because it’s never boring and by night, she writes for young adults because they’re the most interesting people in the world. She is the author of ‘Skin Deep’ and ‘By Any Other Name’.

Jenny Jacoby writes and edits books and magazines for children. Whether writing science activity books to inspiring profiles, puzzles, and quizzes, she is passionate about making information fun. Jenny lives in London, England, with her family.

Mick Jackson is an award-winning novelist and screenwriter from Lancashire, UK. His first novel was shortlisted for the Booker Prize. He has recently started writing for children.

Rob studied illustration at The University of Gloucestershire, graduating in 2011. It was during this time that he discovered a love for making books, toys and puppets. His first book, Bernard, won the People’s Book Prize in 2014.  Rob still enjoys making puppets when he can, and has made a number of them for The Story Museum’s annual Christmas production in Oxford.
